ISKLD is sourced in a pristine area south of Åbenrå Fjord. The water is crystal clear. It has a refreshing taste with a slightly sweet aftertaste, it is alkalic and has a high oxygen content. Due to its high content of calcium, the water has a pleasant, milky mouthfeel.
The Heritage of Danish Water
From its historic recognition in 1561 to today's premium water market, ISKLD represents a unique combination of Danish heritage, artesian sourcing and naturally occurring minerals.
The landscape in Southeast Jutland is dominated by moraine hills, partly covered by pristine woodlands of beach and oak. The hills were formed when the glaciers retreated at the end of the last ice-age, 10.000 years ago. They are made of interlaced sediments of quartz-sand, clay, and soil. Water sieves through the soil and sand and is trapped between layers of clay, thus forming the basis for artesian sources. The geological conditions for artesian wells are only found in a few places in Denmark and the producer is fortunate to be able to tap into one of them.
A distinctive fine water for people who appreciate provenance, taste and quality. Serve chilled alongside fine cuisine or enjoy ISKLD as an elegant everyday mineral water. The bottle sent in a box of 1 or your select quantity in secure packaging, bottle contains 750 ml water.
